The 1916-S Indian Half Eagle is a better date in the series.  This example was assessed at the 64+ level.  PCGS awards the + to those coins that are exceptional for the grade and just a tinch less than the next grade up.  This near gem meets those expectations with rich and deep russet-golden surfaces and great luster.  Only 5 of these have made the 65 grade at CAC, and only 2 at 66.  And to go from 64+ to 65 will cost multiples of the price of this coin.

    For orders from this website, we accept returns for 7 days after receipt of coin by buyer.  Buyer must notify us at desertmoonnm@yahoo.com of return within that 7-day time frame.  Coin must be returned in its original plastic slab.   Buyer pays for return shipping.  Refund will be issued upon receipt of coin in the same condition (including the slab) as it was sent to the buyer.
