1911-D Half Eagle, CACG AU58
$6,475.00Price
The 1911-D Indian Half Eagle is one of the hardest to acquire in the series, only the 1909-O and 1929 are tougher. As such the price scales up more than 50% with each increasing grade. This means that an AU58 represents an obtainable and quality coin for this issue in a value spot when it can be found. The PCGS and CPG price guides converge in MS61: $9000, MS62: $14,500, and MS63: $36,000. This example in AU58 exhibits strong luster under the light and deep russet golden surfaces, no major detractions. Hence originality of the surfaces that meets the tough CAC standards. Just a cool coin.
