This lovely large cent has balanced tone across the surfaces, hint of original red surrounding the devices, and no detracting hits or black spots.  Then add the luster one would expect for a gem large cent, and there you have it.  Amongst the Braided Hair large cents, the 1847 is just not common at all.  When they look like this for a less common date, they are one of a kind and not going to come along every day, or heck, even every year...............  Offered here at the PCGS guide price.
